Andy McNeilly


About this speaker

Andy has worked in education for nearly twenty years, from primary school children up toadult education. He has a focus on wellbeing, and social and emotional learning. Andy is currently the Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader at a primary school on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. This is where he knows the importance of strong, connected relationships to drive positive student outcomes. 

Andy runs workshops and webinars for educators and parents focusing on building connected relationships to help children achieve their best; academically, socially, and emotionally. He has spoken at international conferences on these topics. Andy also coaches and mentorseducators, children, adolescents, parents and organisations.

Andy has written two books: Connecting with your Kids and Connecting with your Teens. In the future, he is planning to write books specifically for schools and organisations about building connected relationships.

Most importantly, Andy is a parent with his wife Sandi to three amazing kids: Daisy, Finn, and Monty. It is here in his family where he has learnt and experienced the importance of having strong, connected, and nurturing relationships at home.
